About the Director of Culinary Innovation,

Cecelia Johnson-Chavis

Cecelia has been a part of the Schmear It Team since nearly the very beginning. She brought with her a life long love of food and used it to exSchmeariment at any available moment on the truck.


Cecelia is a soon to be graduate of The Restaurant School at Walnut Hill College, where she is earning a Bachelors of Science in Culinary Arts. When she is not in a kitchen, Cecelia enjoys running, crocheting, bikram yoga, and taking in the city with her fiancé. On site, Cecelia works to drive innovation, and strives to help Schmear It to be as local, sustainable, and of course as delicious as possible.
